Part of the Muusandam was in Omani Territory
He was held by Omani Army for a couple of days
Oman was yet to open up to the world - and Tourists
Back then I worked in Port Rashid's first Container Terminal.Terminal was so successful Port Rashid was extended to incorporate a purpose designed Container Terminal.
Capt. Arthur Jarman, Port Rashid's Port Manager, knew I was a keen photographer
He asked me to take aerial photos of the new Container Terminal.
He arranged for a helicopter to fly me over the Terminal to take these photos.
After I finished my early morning task, the Pilot asked if I would like a flight around Dubai. "Yes please"!!
